Show-Me Sports Legacies takes a story approach to learning about high school, junior college, D2 & D1 college sports and our beloved professional franchises in Kansas City and St. Louis. We talk to people who have made their mark as coaches, players, scouts, officials and business people after coming from small towns or little known communities or neighborhoods. We talk to people who are seeking to establish their reputation and break into sports career success. With a fan's perspective we look at how to encourage and support people who have that sporting dream.

On the Fast Track: NCMC Men’s Basketball and Coach Jeremy Esry
A Division 2 NJCAA Powerhouse Emerges under Head Coach Jeremy Esry at North Central Missouri College, Trenton, MO. Episode 11 explores his journey and his passion for basketball. From watching his dad referee to playing at Penney High, NCMC and Central Methodist. After his playing career ended he kept close to the game and now leads a program with appearances in 3 of the last 5 NJCAA national tournaments and currently ranked #4 in the nation. Jeremy brings his energy to our podcast!
