We talk to people who have made their mark as coaches, players, scouts, officials and business people after coming from small towns or little known communities or neighborhoods. We talk to people who are seeking to establish their reputation and break into sports career success. With a fan's perspective we look at how to encourage and support people who have that sporting dream.

#OABAAB, Dr. Andy Peterson Leads the NWMSU Bearcats into a New Era
Dr. Andy Peterson, Director of Athletics at Northwest Missouri State University joins us for a far ranging interview covering his high school sports exploits at Grundy R-5 in basketball, fast pitch softball and track to his Bearcat basketball playing days under Coach Steve Tappmeyer. Following graduation Andy stayed connected to Northwest through coaching then became Athletic Director in 2018, leading the Bearcats through the COVID Pandemic and recent major coaching changes in basketball, football and baseball. From a farm north of Laredo, Missouri, basketball opened up a world of opportunity for Andy Peterson; hear his story and his passion for offering those same opportunities for today's Bearcats!
