We talk to people who have made their mark as coaches, players, scouts, officials and business people after coming from small towns or little known communities or neighborhoods. We talk to people who are seeking to establish their reputation and break into sports career success. With a fan's perspective we look at how to encourage and support people who have that sporting dream.

Baseball's Characters, Quirks and Cinematic Quality! It's Baseball Season!
Tonight we welcome Dr. Lenny Klaver, President of North Central Missouri College and long time Wayne State, Nebraska baseball coach and Athletic Director at University of Wisconsin-Parkside for a lively baseball discussion. Along with podcast contributor and former Trenton Lady Bulldogs Basketball Coach Brian Upton we dig in on the outlook for the Kansas City Royals in 2025 then with a nod to Bob Uecker, we each present our favorite baseball characters of all-time! After a few laughs we wind up with our Top Baseball Movies of All-Time, including a complete baseball lineup of movie scenes from Co-Host Kris Ockenfels. If you've got a glove you may want to put it on while you listen in case we've hit some foul balls!!
