We talk to people who have made their mark as coaches, players, scouts, officials and business people after coming from small towns or little known communities or neighborhoods. We talk to people who are seeking to establish their reputation and break into sports career success. With a fan's perspective we look at how to encourage and support people who have that sporting dream.

The Sports Voice of North Central Missouri: Tom Johnson coming to you from…. (Part 1 of 2)
If there is big game in North Missouri, Tom Johnson is likely on the call! As Sports Director for KTTN-FM and KGOZ 101.7 he covers Trenton Bulldog Football, Basketball, Softball and Baseball. During his 22 years in Trenton Missouri he has been the broadcast voice for Princeton Football and covered big games involving Lathrop, Bethany, Milan, Mercer, Braymer, Meadville and other North Central teams as they pursued athletic dreams and championships in MIssouri. And it doesn't stop there! As the voice of the North Central Missouri College Pirates and Lady Pirates he has covered huge games at the Ketcham Center and traveled to the NJCAA National Championship Tournaments following the wildly successful NCMC Basketball teams. Games are bigger with Tom on the call...join us for a look into the makings of a great radio broadcast and exciting and memorable calls as we explore his path from Minnesota native to Trenton transplant.
